Peaceland University Holds Successful 2nd Matriculation Ceremony

Peaceland University, Enugu, marked a significant milestone on Friday, March 14, 2025, as it held its 2nd Matriculation Ceremony, welcoming a new cohort of students into its academic community. The event, graced by esteemed dignitaries, staff, parents, and students, was a momentous occasion celebrating growth, vision, and the commitment to quality education.

In his address, the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Rev. Fr. Prof. Leo Chidi Ilechukwu, expressed gratitude to God for the university’s progress and acknowledged the vital role played by various individuals and institutions in making Peaceland University a reality. He paid tribute to Mama Pia, the visionary behind the FredyPia Education Foundation, whose unwavering dedication and sacrifice laid the foundation for the institution’s establishment.

Prof. Ilechukwu also extended his appreciation to the National Universities Commission (NUC) for facilitating the university’s accreditation, as well as the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) for its role in the admission process. He commended the university’s academic and administrative staff for their dedication to excellence, assuring students and parents that Peaceland University remains committed to providing top-tier education.

Addressing the newly admitted students, the Vice-Chancellor emphasized the university’s core values of discipline, character formation, and academic excellence. He encouraged them to focus on their studies, shun negative influences, and take advantage of the entrepreneurial skill programs integrated into the curriculum. He assured them that Peaceland University would continue to uphold high academic standards and provide opportunities for both local and international collaborations to prepare them for a competitive global landscape.

Prof. Ilechukwu reaffirmed that Peaceland University is not just an institution but a divine vision aimed at fostering integral human development.
